We’re currently seeking camp counselors for all our programs including our Summer Camp Program.

NATURE OF POSITION : To enhance the campers’ experience at Bay Camp, while taking responsibility for their health and well being.

MAJOR DUTIES : This is an all inclusive position. Every counselor must be energetic and is responsible for the safety and well being of each camper. You are tasked with providing and demonstrating a high level of energy when it comes to programs we have planned. WE’RE A TEAM!

RESPONSIBILITIES : You are responsible for aiding all staff during activities. You are responsible for being an active part of all camp activities i.e. field trips, arts and crafts, free time etc. You are responsible for knowing the location of all campers while in the program. You are responsible for promoting a positive, healthy environment and practice personal leadership skills.

RELATIONSHIPS : Develop a good working relationship with the programs staff, parents, campers and camp directors. Provide support to all fellow staff.

QUALIFICATIONS : Must be interested in working with children in group settings. Able to communicate effectively with campers and camp staff. Must be at least 17 years of age. MUST BE HONEST AND HAVE A GOOD WORK ETHIC! You must be willing to take place in all cross training exercises and adaptive to multiple areas of interaction and activity. All applications must be in accordance with the Criminal History Background Information Check, be trained in First Aid and CPR and have clearance by the State of Central Registry on Child Abuse/Neglect.
