Bay Camp was created in 2008 by director Lisa Ledet, who saw a need and opportunity to apply her many years involved in children’s programs here on the Eastern Shore. Bay Camp continues to be an exciting and rewarding experience for parents and provides children ages five to twelve a positive camp experience. Every program we have incorporates activities and outdoor field trips in an organized and disciplined manner.

Our goal is to help children grow through exploration of our local natural resources in a nurturing, fun-filled environment with qualified and experienced staff. We allow children to have fun, gain a sense of self-worth, and respect others no matter how different they may be.

All Bay Camp staff are background checked,CPR and First-Aid certified and have completed courses in all camp policy procedures for child care. Our staff also attend training seminars for day to day operations, which include daily schedules, bus routines, how to communicate with campers and parents, and pick-up / drop-off procedures.

We believe in providing a premium service that shows how we truly enjoy interacting with children, parents, and our entire community. Bay Camp gives us an opportunity to break away from the ordinary and try to achieve the extraordinary. This can be seen daily in all our programs.
